Most team sport athletes struggle with availability, not commitment
The challenge is staying healthy enough to train, develop, and compete consistently throughout a season.Injuries, interrupted training blocks, strength deficits, poor recovery, and balancing sport around school, work, or life can all impact an athlete's ability to perform at their best. Many athletes are not limited by effort.
They are limited by the number of quality training weeks they can accumulate over time.
At SEPSA, we combine Exercise Physiology, rehabilitation principles, strength development, and athletic performance support to help athletes build the physical capacity needed to tolerate the demands of training and competition.

Common frustrations we hear from athletes:
- Repeated injuries disrupting seasons
- Returning from injury and lacking confidence
- Feeling physically underprepared for competition
- Unsure what to do outside team training
- Struggling to build strength consistently
- Losing momentum throughout the season
- Balancing sport around school, work, and life

Choose the level of support that matches your goals, confidence and lifestyle
Every SEPSA OnTheGo pathway is individualised. This first step helps make sure your plan is built around where you are now, not where a generic program assumes you should be.
The difference between packages is the level of support, accountability, communication and guidance you need.
Some people simply need a clear plan and light accountability. Others need closer support, more regular communication or greater guidance around health conditions, pain, confidence and consistency.

Every SEPSA OnTheGo pathway begins with an initial Exercise Physiology assessment
This helps us understand your health history, goals, current capacity, confidence, barriers and the type of support you need.
From there, we build your first phase of programming and help you get set up inside the app.

FAQs
Common questions we’re asked around referrals.
SEPSA can support athletes from field and court sports including Australian football, soccer, basketball, netball, rugby, hockey and others. The key question is whether the program can appropriately address the physical demands of your sport and role.
No. Athlete Development is for people who want a structured approach and are ready to train consistently, from developing athletes through to experienced competitors.
The program begins with your sport, schedule, history and current physical qualities. Exercises are selected and progressed for a reason, then integrated with team training and competition rather than added as a disconnected gym plan.
Yes. Club commitments are part of the planning process. Volume and emphasis can change across the week and season so the additional work supports rather than blindly competes with team demands.
Yes, when Exercise Physiology-led rehabilitation is appropriate. SEPSA can also help bridge later rehabilitation into running, speed, change of direction, conditioning and other return-to-performance demands.
Yes, where the service is age-appropriate and there is parent or guardian involvement as required. The focus is sound movement, foundational strength, confidence and long-term development — not adult programming scaled down.
It can be. Online delivery works well for athletes who can train safely with available equipment and need programming around club commitments. In-person assessment may be recommended for complex injury or technique needs.
Yes. SEPSA can discuss screening, education, program design or ongoing support for teams and organisations. Club services should be scoped separately from an individual athlete plan.
